Luisa Geiselsoder is a German basketball player, who plays as a center for the French women’s club La Roche Vendee and the German national basketball team.

Luisa Geiselsoder was born on February 10, 2000, in Ansbach, Germany. She started in basketball at an early age and showed her great talent.

Luisa Geiselsoder started her career in 2015 at the team BG Donau-Ries. In August 2015 she took part in the European Championships in Portugal with the German U16 national team. At the U16 European Championships in August 2016 in Italy, Luisa Geiselsoder was the best German thrower with 14.7 pts per match, winning the silver in the championship with her teammates. During the U18 European Championships in August 2017, which took place in Ireland, scoring 16.4 pts per game and 10.1 rebs.

In August 2018, she became the European U18 Champion with Germany, averaging 11.3 pts per game in seven games during the tournament. In the 2019/2020 season, she had an average point average of 18.6 pts, and her total of 390 pts this season meant the third-best value in the women’s basketball league. She was awarded the best center player of the 2019/2020 Bundesliga season. She was part of Germany’s squad for the U19 World Cup held in Thailand in July 2019 and had an average of 13.9 pts per game. That was the highest value of all German players. At the U20 European Championship in the Czech Republic in the summer of 2019, she scored 12.6 pts per game, which was again the best value for a German player at the tournament. In mid-November 2019 she made her debut in the German national team.

In mid-April 2020, Luisa Geiselsoder was introduced as a new signing at the French first-division club Landerneau Bretagne Basket. In the 2020 WNBA Draft, they secured the Dallas Wings in 21st place for the rights to the German, who had already selected their national teammate Satou Sabally in second place.

In the summer of 2022, Luisa Geiselsoder moved to La Roche VBC in France.
