Okikiola “Kiki” Iriafen is a professional basketball player of Nigerian-American descent, currently playing for the Washington Mystics in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). She competed in college basketball for the USC Trojans, part of the Big Ten Conference, and previously played for the Stanford Cardinal. In the 2025 WNBA draft, she was chosen fourth overall by the Mystics.
Kiki Iriafen was born on August 26, 2003, in Los Angeles, California. During her high school years, she played basketball for Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles. She earned the title of Los Angeles Daily News Player of the Year twice and was recognized as a McDonald’s All-American in her senior year. In her junior year, Kiki Iriafen guided her team to victory in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 championship and received the Division 1 Player of the Year accolade. She graduated as her school’s all-time leader in both points and rebounds. Rated as a five-star recruit by ESPN, she chose to play college basketball for Stanford, turning down offers from Baylor, UCLA, UConn, and Notre Dame.
During her freshman year at Stanford College, Kiki Iriafen contributed off the bench, recording an average of 4.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game, which earned her Pac-12 All-Freshman recognition from the league’s media. In her sophomore year, she improved her performance, averaging 6.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. By her junior year, Kiki Iriafen had established herself as one of Stanford’s leading players.
Following a remarkable junior season where she averaged 19.4 points and 11.0 rebounds, and was honored as the most improved player in the Pac-12, Kiki Iriafen made the decision to enter the NCAA transfer portal. She ultimately transferred to USC, marking her return to her hometown of Los Angeles for her final year of college basketball.
On April 14, 2025, Kiki Iriafen was chosen fourth overall by the Washington Mystics during the 2025 WNBA draft.
